Terms of Service
Summary: Crawlo provides raw data extraction infrastructure. The Client is responsible for the use and processing of the data obtained.
1. Parties and Definitions
These Terms govern the relationship between CRAWLO DATA INTELLIGENCE LTD ("Crawlo", "we") and the Client ("you") regarding use of the data extraction infrastructure ("Service").
"Extracted Data" refers to raw data obtained from public sources via Crawlo's infrastructure on behalf of the Client. "API" refers to the programming interface provided to access the Service.
2. Nature of Service
Crawlo operates exclusively as a technical infrastructure provider for data extraction. The Service consists of extracting and delivering raw data from public sources, using licensed third-party technology.
Crawlo does not store, process, analyse, transform or interpret the Extracted Data. Responsibility for use lies entirely with the Client.
3. Acceptable Use
The Client agrees to use the Service in accordance with applicable law and our Acceptable Use Policy. The Client is responsible for ensuring that extraction and use of data complies with applicable regulations.
4. Intellectual Property
The extraction technology is owned by third parties and licensed to Crawlo for operation. The Client does not acquire rights over the technology. Extracted Data is not owned by Crawlo.
5. Billing and Payment
Billing is based on request volume and bandwidth consumed according to the contracted plan. Payments are prepaid and non-refundable except as stated in these Terms.
Crawlo reserves the right to modify plan terms with 30 days' prior notice. Continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
6. Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Crawlo commits to maintaining Service availability per the contracted plan SLA. In case of non-compliance, the Client may request service credits per the current SLA policy.
SLA exclusions include scheduled maintenance windows (communicated in advance), force majeure events, and issues caused by the Client's infrastructure or usage patterns.
7. Limitation of Liability
Crawlo does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or availability of data at public sources. Crawlo's maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client in the preceding 12 months.
In no event shall Crawlo be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities or goodwill.
8. Data in Transit
Extracted Data is held on our servers for a maximum of 72 hours for delivery. After this period, it is automatically deleted. Crawlo does not create backups or copies of Extracted Data beyond this transit window.
9. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to maintain the confidentiality of the other party's proprietary information. This obligation does not apply to information that is publicly available, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.
10. Indemnification
The Client shall indemnify and hold Crawlo harmless from any claims, damages or expenses arising from the Client's use of the Service, including any violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the service with 30 days' written notice. Crawlo reserves the right to suspend or terminate access immediately in case of violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
Upon termination, the Client's access to the API will be revoked and any data in transit will be deleted within 72 hours.
12. Modifications
Crawlo may update these Terms with 30 days' prior notice via email. Continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be highlighted in the notification.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Famagusta, Cyprus.
